How it works

One rule:fill the corner, nothing sticking out.

Each challenge sets a few pieces for you. Every other piece has to find its place against the floor and the two walls, staying out of the big void in the middle, and there is only one solution. Scroll: challenge 01 builds itself before your eyes.

The corner · 37 empty cells

  1. IThe corner3 faces, 37 cellsA floor and two walls, set point-down on the stand. The big void in the middle, 3 × 3 × 3 cells, must stay empty.
  2. IIThe given piecesA, C, E, F, IChallenge 01 sets five. Gravity holds them against the walls: they stay put on their own.
  3. IIIThe edgesI straddles the edgeLying on the floor and against the right wall. C, the only non-flat piece, touches all three faces.
  4. IVThe pieces to findB, D, G, HEach one slides in along a straight line: B and H toward the floor, D toward the left wall, G toward the right one.

Anatomy · exploded view

Nine pieces, thirty-seven cubes, not one to spare.

Three to five cubes each, all different; eight are flat, just one is not. They spread out from the corner, and the judge lid lifts. Pick a reference to examine it on its own, from every angle.

↑ Tap a reference to see it in 3D and turn it.
“5 cubes · L”: number of cubes and shape of the piece.

The challenges

120 challenges, from five given pieces down to two.

Five levels of 24 challenges. The higher the level, the fewer pieces you are given: five at Starter, two at Master and Wizard. Scroll: the cursor runs through all 120 challenges, from the simplest to the most devious.

Bar height: size of the solver's search tree, in nodes, on a log scale. Every challenge has a unique solution, verified by two independently written solvers.

The guide

No booklet. The QR code on the box opens the challenge in 3D.

  • 01The corner is shown like the corner of a room: the floor in front, a wall on each side, exactly as on your desk.
  • 02The given pieces go in one by one, each with the direction it comes in from. In 8 challenges, a piece only stays put once the next one is in: the guide tells you to hold it with one hand.
  • 03Then the guide lets you search. Need help? It walks you through to the last piece. No account, no app.
  • 04120 challenges for TRIEDRiX, 960 across the eight games in the range.
